"Coming in for the day on a cruise ship, we just did the Healthy Half Day package and it was amazing. We started with a one hour Flow class in the white shala, then enjoyed the buffet in Cafe lite (where it is included to order a la carte eggs with sides, I had an omelette with roast potatoes and baby corn - in addition to some buffet items), then had a 1hr massage. We then added on with a facial. What an incredible experience, and thank you to Shane for greeting us and directing us through the various sessions. 🙏"

"I recently completed the 300hr YTT at Vikasa, staying there for almost 5 weeks and I could not have asked for a better experience. Not only is the location one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed in but the hospitality was incredible. From the moment I arrived (which was a few days before the training began) I was met with such warmth from every person I met - from the hotel reception team to the cleaning and gardening staff. The staff at Life Cafe are some of the kindest people you could meet - Chu, Nway, Nye, Zee, Phew, Ant (to name a few) and the entire team excel in their field. All of the staff go above and beyond, remembering names, room numbers, special orders and always with a smile. The food itself is fantastic - always fresh, healthy, diverse and delicious. After 5 weeks of eating almost every meal at Vikasa, I didn’t have a single meal that I didn’t enjoy. In fact I’ve been back for lunch twice since finishing the training and have been greeted like part of the family. I stayed in a Prana Pad which was perfect - simple yet luxurious, with a balcony facing the beach, every morning began with a breathtaking sunrise and the sound of waves crashing. My room was clean and comfortable, serviced daily by the wonderful cleaning team. The secret beach, infinity pool and yoga shalas are all as beautiful as they look in photographs. If you are looking to take a teacher training, look no further. I cannot express enough how much value I got from the course, I have come away with so much new information, so much inspiration and so many practical tools to use for both teaching and personal practice. Each teacher brought not only expertise, but warmth, patience, authenticity and fun. A huge thank you to Kosta, Mikey, Niki, Michael, Alexey, Rama, Ness, Kara and Victoria for your sharing your knowledge, for the wonderful classes and work behind the scenes. If you are thinking of Vikasa for a shorter stay then you will likely be looked after by Rawan or Eva, the wellness practitioners who will undoubtedly make your experience nothing short of magical. Honourable mention also to Jovan, whose smile lit up every day. I left feeling like I have a new home and family halfway around the world that I know I’ll be back to - couldn’t recommend them enough!"

"This is a review of a 300 HR YTT The hotel: I stayed in a Lotus Pad, and although it meant climbing around 100 stairs to reach the yoga shala and restaurant, the spectacular ocean views, wind, and birds along the way made the surroundings feel deeply nourishing and alive. The room itself was simple yet comfortable, with all the basics you need, allowing you to focus on what truly matters. The pool area is gorgeous, and the hidden beach is definitely worth the walk! The Life Café: Is a beautiful gathering place, with consistently delicious and nourishing food and, above all, incredibly warm staff who welcome you by name and make you feel at home. Thank you to all the staff for making it so lovely to be there, especially to Chu and Nway 🤍 The YTT: To me, what sets Vikasa apart is the training itself. It is thoughtfully designed, with every class serving a clear purpose. Most importantly, the approach to yoga is refreshingly non-dogmatic. Rather than presenting a single truth, we were offered multiple perspectives, sometimes even opposing ones, which encouraged me to reflect, discern, and take what resonated while leaving the rest. This, to me, created a mature, respectful, and empowering learning environment. It was also super nice and insightful to have different teachers with different practice styles; it enriched and inspired the way I will teach in the future. Spending a whole month in such a beautiful setting, surrounded by like-minded people, created deep bonds, and I’m sure I made friendships that will last a lifetime."
