"I recently attended a yoga class, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The class was completely unstructured: it felt like the instructor had watched a few TikTok videos and then improvised on the spot. The primary and secondary cues were poor or completely absent, making it difficult to understand the intention or how to safely get into a pose. Downward Dog was used at least ten times as a transition into completely random poses, making the flow feel messy and disjointed. The breathing and timing were also off—there was no guided breathing and no clear count, which is essential in yoga. Besides the content, the context was also disappointing: the class cost 500 baht, but felt anything but professional. Payment was made "under the radar," quickly at her scooter, as if we were doing something illegal. It felt awkward and completely out of step with what I expect from a yoga session. In short: for this price, you expect a professional, well-thought-out, and safe yoga class. Unfortunately, it was the opposite. If I could give a zero I definitely would."

"If I could give zero stars, I would. This was by far the worst yoga class I’ve ever taken. There was no preparation, no structure, and no proper guidance. The instructor clearly did not know what she was doing, which made the class not just bad but actually dangerous. She physically pulled on shoulders during poses — which is a huge no-no, especially for people with past or potential shoulder dislocations. We went as a group of three. All of us are trained dancers with experience in yoga and stretching, so we know what safe practice looks like. If this is how the class is taught, I would strongly advise tourists or beginners NOT to take this class. There was no focus on breathing, no counting, no flow, no awareness — basically everything that makes yoga yoga was missing. This felt more like random movements than an actual class. Beautiful location, terrible instruction. This is not yoga."

"I honestly don’t know how this qualifies as a yoga workshop. The instructor clearly has no education or basic understanding of teaching. There was no proper warm-up at all… we went straight into poses our bodies were absolutely not ready for. Instead of easing people in, it felt rushed and careless. On top of that, she doesn’t count calmly or clearly, which completely defeats the purpose of yoga. The counting was chaotic and inconsistent, making the whole session more stressful than relaxing. I was constantly tense, waiting for the next unclear instruction. What bothered me most is that she seemed more focused on looking around the room, laughing, and reacting to people than actually teaching. It felt unprofessional and distracting. If you’re leading a group, your attention should be on guiding them safely, not entertaining yourself. There was no structure, no flow, no sense of awareness of the group’s needs. Instead of grounding and focus, it created confusion and tension. Yoga is supposed to reduce stress. This did the exact opposite. I left more stressed than when I arrived and with the strong feeling that this instructor should seriously reconsider teaching before getting proper training."
